Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Java Developer. We are located in Kaunas, but you would have flexibility to work from home. The Java Developer will be responsible for software development, designing and implementing microservices, programming, utilizing the Spring Framework, and ensuring high code quality. The developer will work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver efficient, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with backend development in JAVA;
• Designing and creating solutions, active engagement in all parts of the development life cycle;
• Can take ownership of your work and deliver stable results according to provided requirements;
• Fluent communication in Lithuanian and English (reading, writing, speaking);
• Can work independently and in teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Advantages:

• Experience in XML/JSON, SOAP, Protocol Buffers (gRPC) and RESTful web services;
• Experience with Spring and Java APIs (JPA, Servlets, JDBC, Streams, Lambda);
• Experience with multithreading environment;
• Experience with messaging brokers: Kafka, ActiveMQ;
• Experience with frontend development and UI frameworks, preferably Angular.io, Bootstrap;
• Experience with databases;
• Knowledge in unit, functional and performance testing;
• Experience with SCM software, preferably Git.
• Experience with telecommunications or network security is a plus.
