This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager - Al Risk Management located in Abu Dhabi.

The Manager will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the bank's Al risk management framework to ensure all Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning systems are deployed responsibly, securely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include defining Al governance policies, overseeing Al risk assessments, ensuring ethical and bias-free model deployment, and managing vendor and third-party Al solution evaluations.

The role requires close collaboration with technology, compliance, data science, and business teams to ensure Al adoption aligns with ADCB's risk appetite and strategic objectives. The Manager will also represent the bank in Al governance forums, stay ahead of emerging Al regulations, and champion a culture of responsible Al use across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing Al risk governance, compliance, and oversight in a financial or regulated environment

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders

• Deep understanding of Al/ML technologies, algorithmic decision-making, and model lifecycle management

• Experience with Al governance frameworks, ethical Al standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., EU Al Act,

NIST Al Risk Management Framework)

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey Al risks to technical and non-technical audiences

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Risk Management, or a related field (Master's preferred)

• Relevant certifications in Al governance, risk management, or data ethics (e.g., Certified Al Governance Professional, Al Ethics Specialist) are a plus

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate Al risk insights into actionable strategies
