Senior Network Engineer (CloudDNS / BlueCat)

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead our cloud-based DNS and network infrastructure initiatives.

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing advanced, scalable network solutions while integrating on-premises and cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Cloud network infrastructure
• Integrate and maintain DNS records across cloud-native solutions like AWS Route 53, GCP Cloud DNS, Azure DNS, and BlueCat
• Administer BlueCat centralized DNS and DHCP management systems
• Establish and enforce standardized network policies, procedures, and best practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure high availability and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized network solutions
• Leverage scripting and automation tools to optimize workflows and reduce manual processes
• Drive innovation by staying current on emerging trends and technologies in cloud networking and DNS

Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud networking services including VPC, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud DNS
• Expertise in BlueCat servers and centralized DNS management
• Deep understanding of key network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Proficiency in network security practices and concepts
• Background in IP addressing, including advanced skills in IPv4, CIDR notation, and subnetting
• Experience working with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins Pipeline
• Skills in network monitoring and analysis using tools like ELK or SolarWinds
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in network engineering roles
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to remain effective under pressure
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work remotely and participate in an on-call rotation schedule

Nice to have

• Professional Cloud Network Engineer certifications (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker
