We’re looking for a talented and proactive Android Software Developer to join a complex development project centered on Android Automotive in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems. In this role, you’ll design and implement software modules, develop automated tests, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions for a global automotive client.

Project

The project empowers OEMs to deliver modern, customizable infotainment experiences by integrating Android Automotive into their vehicles. It addresses the challenge of fragmented in-car software by offering a unified, scalable platform that supports navigation, media, connectivity, and essential system-level features.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software modules for Android-based IVI systems
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and maintainability of the code
  • Review code for quality, performance, and compliance with project standards
  • Collaborate with the integration, validation, and DevOps teams to ensure the smooth software delivery
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows and tools
  • Ensure the timely delivery of build artifacts and documentation aligned with project milestones

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably with automotive or Android platforms
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C++ for Android development
  • Experience with Android Automotive OS, AOSP, or custom Android services
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, JFrog)
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JUnit, Python-based test automation)
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
