Information about the position

We aim to provide the best help experience for any Vinted user seeking support. In order to achieve this efficiently and quickly, we plan to focus on providing self-help based on extensive user testing, experimentation, and data analysis, utilising the latest and most advanced technology available.

The business opportunity is immense: Helping users before they submit a ticket has the potential to save millions of euros and transform frustrated users into engaged advocates of our sustainable marketplace.

We’ll be building two new teams focused on providing automated help to our users. One is focussed on building a single source of truth for help content and the other on creating a repository for customer support processes. As the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in growing this team to its full capacity, ensuring its members are fully committed and enabled to make a significant impact. And help us in our mission to make second-hand first choices worldwide.

In this position, you’ll

• Build and lead a cross-functional engineering team consisting of backend and frontend engineers, with potential for mobile engineers in the future
• Support the growth paths of all team members to ensure the team’s success
• Establish and maintain a clear vision for both business impact and tech excellence
• Foster teamwork to create a great work environment for your team
• Lay the foundation for fast, focused and iterative development
• Evaluate, experiment and leverage bleeding-edge technologies to provide a fully personalised help experience to Vinted users
  
  

About You

• You possess a technical background and have worked as a software engineer earlier in your career
• You bring proven experience in leading a software engineering team
• You deeply care about people and technology and want to make a positive impact
• You are adept at facilitating technical discussions with team members, peers, and stakeholders

The salary range for this position is €6,200 - €8,383 gross per month.
