Senior Software Engineer

Our client is a financial services company operating in Northern and Western Europe. They provide banking, investment and financial services, and are building modern, reliable digital solutions to support these activities.

The assignment focuses on improving the company’s data lineage solution, making applications production ready, and helping ensure stability of their technology platform.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the data lineage solution and complete it
• Deploy Python and React applications to AWS
• Review code and prepare it for production use
• Help resolve incidents and bugs to improve platform stability and performance
• Contribute to documentation when needed
• Work closely with architects and other engineers

Required experience and skills

• At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications
• Strong knowledge of Python, React and MS SQL Server
• Experience with AWS and deploying applications to production
• Understanding of container-based development with Docker and Kubernetes (OpenShift is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and guide small groups when needed
• Upper-intermediate English, both spoken and written

Contract details

• Duration: 3 months, with possibility to extend depending on performance and project needs
• Engagement: Full-time contractor
• Rate: up to 55eu/h
• Location: Remote or hybrid, depending on client needs
• Start date: As soon as possible
