Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Expert

We are looking for an experienced SRE Expert to help drive the reliability and resilience of large-scale payment and settlement platforms. You will be part of a fast-growing organization that combines the dynamics of a start-up with the backing of an international financial enterprise.

As an SRE Expert, you will guide engineering tribes in adopting Site Reliability Engineering practices, perform in-depth technical reviews, and provide hands-on support to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and highly available. You’ll also join a global SRE community, sharing knowledge and shaping best practices.

What you’ll do

• Lead tribes in implementing SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, resilience testing).
• Review and advise on monitoring, alerting, and system resilience design.
• Support root cause analyses, post-mortems, and identify structural improvements.
• Provide knowledge sessions and mentoring on SRE concepts and tooling.
• Analyze incident, problem, and change data to drive reliability improvements.
• Offer hands-on support to teams struggling with monitoring, alerting, or reliability issues.

What we’re looking for

• Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL) or Windows.
• Solid database skills: SQL / Oracle / MS SQL or NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana; OpenTelemetry is a plus).
• Good understanding of networking (IPv4/IPv6), containers, and cloud tooling.
• Programming experience in at least one language.
• Background in both monolithic and modern application landscapes.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and ability to coach others.

Nice to have: knowledge of IT security and observability standards.
