Data Analyst II

We are supporting a global organisation.

Contract Duration:  6 months initially – 40 hours per week – up to 105 EUR per hour, 40 hours per week, 3 days per week in the AMS office

Hiring Manager’s Focus:
Must haves: We looking for a seasoned person with solid background in building scallable reporting solutions and working with senior stakeholders. Strong PySpark and SQL background is a must, as well as solid soft skills in data storytelling / building self serving tools.

- Hybrid. 3 days in the office
- Duration 6 months no extension
- Reason req: Sick Leave, plus workload
- Commercial / Direct projects support and automating of leadership reporting
- 2 interviews FIT and Tech (business case)


We are seeking a Data Analyst II to play a key role in driving analytics initiatives, reporting, visualization, and analysis within a dynamic business area. This role combines strong business understanding with technical expertise in data analytics to deliver impactful, scalable, and long-term solutions that influence decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the design and delivery of end-to-end Data Analytics solutions, from idea generation through to implementation.
  • Translate business challenges into data stories, working autonomously to prepare, analyse, and visualise data for stakeholder needs.
  • Deliver reporting, dashboards, and insights that inform strategic and operational business decisions.
  • Engage with and manage junior to mid-level stakeholders, clearly communicating complex findings and aligning solutions to business impact.
  • Leverage knowledge of data analysis, workflows, tools, and methods to drive efficiency and effectiveness in delivering insights.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to a culture of learning and excellence within the analytics team.
  • Actively participate in the wider data community, supporting initiatives that improve effectiveness and collaboration across teams.
  • Partner with related crafts (e.g. Data Engineering) to anticipate data needs and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure data quality and stability through adherence to best practices, peer reviews, and reproducible approaches.
  • Identify opportunities to apply new methods, tools, and approaches to enhance analysis and reporting capabilities.

  • Strong background in data analytics and visualisation, with proven experience delivering actionable insights.
  • Skilled at stakeholder management, with the ability to work independently and prioritise based on business impact.
  • Comfortable translating complex data into intuitive, impactful, and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to share knowledge through mentoring and team support.
  • Curious, adaptable, and motivated to explore new approaches and continuously expand technical capabilities.
