Senior Data Consultant - BI (Hybrid)

WHAT DOES A DATA CONSULTANT DO AT METRUM? 🤔

Our Data consultants are motivated and proactive individuals who play a key role in delivering projects for our clients. As a Data Consultant, you will be involved in all project phases, from requirements analysis to delivery of innovative and high-performing BI solutions.

Of course, our consultants don't work alone. They work as a team and help each other to achieve their goals and satisfy clients. Learning alone is good, but learning together is better and more motivating. Teamwork is important, you need to learn from others and share your knowledge.

You will:

• Manage Client communication and gather requirements and expectations;
• Conduct Analysis and draft functional specifications;
• Design and develop Data Warehouses;
• Design and develop reports and dashboards;
• Analyse Data and detect inconsistencies;
• Maintain and develop existing solutions.

OK, AND HOW CAN YOU GET THERE?

• You hold a higher education degree in computer science (BAC +2/3/5);
• You are autonomous and comfortable communicating with teams and clients;
• You are fluent in French and English (German is an asset);
• You are mobile in France and Benelux.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW: 🧠:

• Excellent mastery of SQL language required;
• Knowledge of report creation software, for example:
• SQL Server Reporting Services
• Cognos
• Power BI / QlikView / Tableau software
• SAP BI
• Knowledge of an ETL (Extract Transform and Load) software is a real plus:
• SQL Server Integration Services
• SAS Data Integration
• Talend
• DataStage
• Knowledge of the MDX and/or DAX language
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence modeling (DataMart, star schema, etc.)
• Any other knowledge in the field of data analysis (Data Mining, Machine Learning, Big Data, ...) and Microsoft Azure environments are advantages.
