DevOps Engineer

For one of the main banking clients based in Utrecht we are looking for a Data Engineer to carry out the architecture for application Solutions.

| Responsibilities |

• Implement and manage monitoring solutions across our infrastructure and applications/

• Develop and maintain self-service capabilities for product teams to onboard and utilize the monitoring solutions effectively

• Provide expert support and guidance to product teams throughout their onboarding process

• Collaborate with squads on Observability as an expert, delivering automation skills to enable self-service for core team Tracer enablement processes

• Optimise application performance using advanced monitoring and analytics capabilities

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our observability strategies and tools to become a more Managed standardised service provider area.

| Requirements |

• Higher education degree in IT or related field

• 2-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on monitoring and observability

• Extensive experience with monitoring solution implementation, configuration, and optimisation

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform) and REST API integrations

• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation

• Solid understanding of observability concepts and tools

• Excellent English communication skills (Dutch would be an advantage)

• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments

• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other observability solutions (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, Splunk Observability)

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, AKS, or Cloud Foundry

• Familiarity with AWS

• Experience with alerting services

• Background in providing consultancy services on observability to internal stakeholders
