Software Engineer (Frontend)

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building interactive, high-performance, and scalable web and mobile applications. • Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and React Native (for mobile development).
• Implement modern UI/UX designs with a focus on performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to create seamless web and mobile experiences.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first development.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Integrate RESTful & GraphQL APIs to enhance frontend and mobile functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, frameworks, and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with component-based UI development.
• Practical experience with application state management (e.g., context or simple global state solutions).
• Strong understanding of web standards: HTML5, CSS3, and familiarity with modern styling approaches (responsive design, component-based CSS, utility-first methodologies).
• Familiarity with modern frontend development workflows (build, bundling, transpiling).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs; basic knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
• Awareness of user experience (UX) and accessibility (A11Y) principles.
• Basic knowledge of performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting).
• Some experience writing and running tests (unit or integration testing).
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and basic communication).
• Living in İzmir or willing to relocate.

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) in Next.js.
• Knowledge of React Native performance optimizations for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with WebSockets, real-time data handling, and WebRTC.
• Experience with CI/CD for frontend and mobile applications (GitHub Actions, Vercel, Netlify, Fastlane).
• Previous experience in high-traffic, scalable web and mobile applications.
