PHP Software Developer - Learning Management Systems

What will you be bringing to the team?

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust software systems across the full lifecycle
  • Lead and mentor technical teams, fostering collaboration and best practices
  • Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs
  • Optimize applications for performance, security, and quality assurance
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
  • Estimate development effort and timelines to support project planning
  • Establish and enforce software development standards and guidelines
  • Propose innovative solutions to address business needs and technical challenges
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret software metrics to drive improvements
  • Manage configurations and oversee releases to ensure smooth deployments
  • Contribute to the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, testing, QA, change management, and deployment
  • Develop and execute testing strategies and custom testing tools
  • Document software developments to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing
  • Prototype and validate solutions to support decision-making and innovation
  • Provide advanced technical support (2nd & 3rd line) to resolve complex issues

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of IT relevant professional experience, including 2+ years as a Full Stack PHP Software Developer
  • At least 5 years of experience using PHP, with deep technical expertise in the language
  • Direct involvement in at least 3 successfully delivered projects based on PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and MySQL/MSSQL in the role of Software Developer
  • Cloud development and deployment experience gained in at least 2 projects
  • Frontend development skills, including JavaScript (ES6), CSS extension languages, and Bootstrap
  • Proven end-to-end software lifecycle experience, in software solution delivery
  • Expertise in enterprise-level systems within the relevant technology domain
  • Strong UML knowledge with ability to design and model applications effectively
  • Proficient across all layers{{:}} data, business logic, and user interface
  • Hands-on experience with Scrum and agile development practices
  • Capable of leading technical teams and mentoring peers
  • Skilled in technical documentation and solution design
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English

Mandatory Certification{{:}}

  • Intermediate level certificate in software development relevant to the domain (or an equivalent certification recognized internationally)
