We're Hiring: Data Engineer

Join our team, where we build cutting-edge solutions using spatial and location data to power digital innovation. We're looking for an experienced and creative Data Engineer to help develop scalable, cloud-native systems for geospatial data processing.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build data pipelines in Python and Go for geospatial data
• Develop APIs and event-driven workflows using Kafka, AWS SQS, and Google Pub/Sub
• Work with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, BigQuery, AWS S3, and Google Cloud Storage
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver robust data services
• Monitor and support production systems, ensuring security and compliance
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning

What You Bring

Required:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong skills in Python and Go
• Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and BigQuery
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Docker, and GitHub
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred:

• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of geospatial data and libraries
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
• Exposure to cloud-based ML platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker)
• Understanding of cloud networking and security best practices
• Agile mindset and ability to translate user needs into technical solutions
