About the role

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join an onshore team supporting FPSO operations. The role involves providing technical support to offshore assets, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring safe, efficient and reliable production. You will be directly involved in troubleshooting, optimisation, and performance improvement, as well as contributing to long-term projects and modifications.

This position is suited to someone with operational FPSO experience who is motivated by improving uptime, reducing emissions, and maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to live FPSO operations, ensuring safe and efficient production
• Troubleshoot process challenges, identify root causes, resolve complex issues, and prevent downtime
• Perform process calculations and run simulations (Aspen HYSYS) to optimise plant performance
• Monitor asset health using surveillance tools, driving improvements in stability and reliability
• Participate in audits, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and incident investigations
• Maintain documentation and procedures in line with company systems and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to modification projects and technical studies to ensure operational integrity

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant industry experience
• Proven FPSO operational knowledge and process engineering expertise
• Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS and PI Vision
• Strong understanding of regulations, international standards, and codes of practice
• Knowledge of Flag State and Classification Society requirements
• Fluent English, both written and oral
• Flexibility to travel, including offshore assignments
