Senior Network Engineer

We are currently hiring for Network Engineer to join one of our major clients based out of UAE.

Job Details:

Role: Network Engineer L2/ Senior Network Engineer

Employment Type: 12 months & extendable contract

Work Location: Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE

Notice Period: 30 days or less

Job Responsibilities:

Incident Management & Troubleshooting

• Perform advanced troubleshooting for network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points System Monitoring & Maintenance

Network Maintenance and Monitoring:

• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios to identify and resolve potential issues.

Configuration and Deployment:

• Assist in the configuration and deployment of network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Implement VLANs, routing protocols, and access control policies as per design specifications.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in network engineering
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Good knowledge of technologies like SDN, ACI & SDWAN
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
• Basic knowledge of network security concepts (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, access control).
• Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
