Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our team and support projects within the banking and insurance sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, preparing BRDs and FSDs, supporting UAT, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective IT and business solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Agile/Waterfall methodologies, MS Office tools, and requirements management platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders in the banking and insurance sectors.
- Assist in preparing business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FSDs), and use cases.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are correctly translated into technical solutions.
- Support testing activities by preparing test cases, performing UAT, and coordinating with users for validation.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to understand current processes and propose improvements.
- Track project progress and maintain updated documentation and status reports.
- Analyze and interpret data from various sources to support decision-making.
- Ensure alignment of business needs with IT deliverables across various projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking, insurance, or financial services.
- Experience in writing clear business documentation and working with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Salary budget up to 4600 SGD
