We're seeking a Solutions Architect / DevOps to work on a project in Portugal 💻💡💪
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 2 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and deployment.
- Familiarity with container management and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes [Openshift/OKD, MicroK8S, Canonical]).
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and server administration.
- Experience managing relational databases (ORACLE, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, MongoDB).
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) for task automation.
- English proficiency level (B2 or higher).
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage on-premises IT infrastructure and solutions.
- Prepare technical and infrastructure documentation for proposals/offers.
- Familiar with virtualization systems.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using modern tools.
- Monitor system and infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and redundancy.
- Manage configuration and administration of servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain security and backup policies to protect data and ensure business continuity.
- Manage databases, networks, servers, storage systems, etc.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure and application deployment.
- Document procedures, configurations, and changes in the infrastructure/solution
Mostly remote setup (about 2 times a month in Lisboa)
