Intern Position

The Intern is an entry level position at Citi where the student will receive a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable expert. Assignments of this Intern position will focus on attaining core competencies in Global Legal Function (one of the four core functions at Citi).

Responsibilities:

• Assists Legal department of JSC “Citibank” in legal research and analysis on major legal areas concerning activities of the bank, including financial services laws and regulations, employment, corporate, data protection and other laws.
• Assists Legal team in preparation of legal documentation, including on corporate governance matters
• Performs most basic tasks/assignments of the Legal function at JSC “Citibank” (Ukraine)
• Works under direct supervision of the employees of the legal department of JSC “Citibank” (Ukraine)
• Part-time engagement
• Ability to sporadically visit office of JSC “Citibank” in Kyiv, Ukraine as necessary
  
  

Qualifications:

• Student of law at 3rd, 4th or 5th year of study at the leading Ukrainian university
• Verbal and written English and Ukrainian language proficiency
• Prior work experience is not required
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Cooperation and focus in achieving group and client objectives
• Innovative and creative in solving legal issues in dynamic regulatory environment
• Quick thinking and detail oriented
