• Maintain the programme’s hardware and software:
• Ensure the functioning of all hardware (laptops, servers, desktop computers) in accordance with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) standards.
• Maintain printers, digital cameras, scanners, access control system and other hardware components.
• Ensure smooth running of all software packages used at WHH office.
• Continuously update all software to the latest versions.
• Test new or upgraded software systems.
• Record updates in hard and software (inventory).
• In consultation with the Regional IT lead, solve hard and software related problems.
• Ensure an emergency deputy service in case of absence.
• In cooperation with Logistics and the Regional IT lead, arrange for and follow up on external maintenance services.
• Advise and train WHH staff in IT matters including user setup, orientation on tools, regulations and electronic data processing.
• Manage the installation and security of information technology components and systems:
• Manage the overall administration of the IT system.
• Install and maintain a local area network (LAN).
• Document installation and settings on the server and on each computer.
• Establish proper back-up systems and ensure system security.
• Periodically update anti-virus software.
• Fulfill any other tasks which are assigned by the management and correspond in general with the character of this position.
• Travel to the other WHH field offices and project locations of WHH in Ukraine as required to provide troubleshooting support, advise, and build the capacity of WHH staff and partner organizations to maintain their IT equipment at a good level of operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygiene rules, Safety, and Environmental regulations and guidelines.
  

Specific Knowledge

• Intermediate to fluent level of verbal and written English
• Knowledge of labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation, and labor hygiene rules.
