Scrum Master + Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master / Business Analyst with strong project management skills to join our Data Services team. This hybrid role will play a critical part in delivering Data Warehouse and Data Services initiatives by combining Agile facilitation, business analysis, and end-to-end project execution capabilities.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, data architects, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, meet business requirements, and align with organizational objectives.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
  

• Coach team members on Agile principles and practices.
  

• Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  

• Ensure sprint goals are clear and progress is tracked effectively using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.
  

• Monitor team performance metrics and support process improvement initiatives.
  

• Gather, document, and analyze business and data requirements from stakeholders.
  

• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  

• Develop data mapping, data lineage, and transformation documentation.
  

• Work with ETL developers, data modelers, and BI teams to ensure business needs are met.
  

• Assist in data validation and support UAT processes.
  

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
  

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  

• Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  

• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
  

• Ensure alignment with data governance, security, and compliance standards.
  
  
  

• 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst.
  

• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Data Integration concepts.
  

• Experience working with ETL processes, data pipelines, and reporting tools.
  

• Proficiency with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid project management methodologies.
  

• Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing Agile teams.
  

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

• Experience in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery).
  

• Certification(s) such as:
  

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
    

  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
    

  • CBAP or CCBA (Business Analysis)
    

  • PMP or equivalent
    

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
