Investment Banking Analyst

The European Industrials Investment Banking group at Cantor Fitzgerald in London is a newly formed team, started only 1 year ago, with Europe only 3 months ago, and is part of a larger 25–30-man team based out of Chicago and New York.

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Investment Banking team.

As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting senior bankers and clients across

Investment Banking Products (M&A, ECM, DCM etc.) and the below subsectors:

Key responsibilities

• Conducting independent research and gathering information from publicly available and internal sources.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and participating in meetings.
• Provide specified input for company profiles, presentations and other documents to support senior team members.
• Contribute to the development and basic editing of Excel-based models, including valuations and other financial analysis update team credentials and related materials.
• Provide support for various administrative tasks.

Skills and attributes

• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields
• Very strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Diligent and committed to excellence.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and good organisation skills.
• Ambitious, driven and capable of delivering results while working under tight deadlines.
• Second language preferred
• Entrepreneurial and self-starter
• Industrials sector experience preferred (sub-sector agnostic)
