Senior .NET Full Stack Engineer

A leading consulting firm is seeking experienced Senior .NET Full Stack Engineer's to join their growing digital transformation team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver real-world solutions across a variety of industries, working in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.

As a Senior Engineer, you will not only design and build modern applications but also provide technical direction, mentor team members, and help shape best practices. You will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and impactful systems leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of modern services using ASP.NET Core and C#
• Drive front-end development with React, Angular, or Blazor/Razor, using modern HTML/CSS standards
• Architect cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS, ensuring scalability and resilience
• Champion DevOps practices, leveraging CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Apply strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to complex client challenges
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers in agile delivery teams
• Collaborate with clients, product owners, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business outcomes

Required Experience

• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade applications in .NET and cloud environments
• Advanced expertise with ASP.NET Core, C#, and front-end frameworks
• Strong experience in version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab) and agile delivery methods
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

Desirable Experience

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Containerization with Docker and Docker Compose
• Advanced SQL database experience (SQL Server, Postgres)
• Knowledge of secure coding, accessibility, and web best practices
• Familiarity with Entity Framework (EF Core)

Additional Preferred Experience

• Building microservices in Java or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
• Exposure to Large Language Model tools (e.g., LangChain, Vercel AI)
• Experience with GOV.UK Design System or templating engines such as Razor
