Java Fullstack Engineer

Join our development team as a Java Full-Stack Software Engineer and contribute to building reliable, high-quality software solutions.

In this role, you’ll work across the full lifecycle of applications, from design and architecture to implementation and ongoing operations, shaping solutions that are both practical and effective. As a core member of the team, you’ll design and implement full-stack solutions with Java and Spring, while also contributing on the frontend with modern frameworks such as Angular or React.

You’ll be involved in deployment and operations through Docker and OpenShift, as well as automation and CI/CD practices with tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and develop full-stack solutions using Java, Spring, and modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React)
• Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure that systems are built for maintainability and scalability.
• Work with containerization, orchestration, and cloud platforms to support deployment and operations.
• Apply CI/CD pipelines and testing practices to improve delivery and reliability.
• Collaborate within agile teams and contribute to a culture of structured, pragmatic problem solving.

Must-have skills:

• Fluency in German with strong English skills.
• Several years of proven experience in software engineering with Java and Spring.
• Solid understanding of full-stack development, including frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
• Practical knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and cloud environments.
• Experience working in agile teams and delivering solutions within complex technical environments.

Nice to have skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, Tekton, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and prompt engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Ability to mentor peers and contribute to design reviews.
