About The Role

As an AI & Automation Specialist, you will be a hands-on engineer embedded within the Marketing team, driving our mission to make Wise marketing the smartest and most effective in the world.

You will design, develop, and maintain technical solutions that leverage AI and automation to solve complex marketing challenges. You’ll be having the autonomy to architect and build proprietary tools and platforms that provide a lasting competitive advantage.

This role is for a seasoned engineer who thrives on identifying workflow bottlenecks and building robust, scalable solutions to resolve them. Your work will directly impact our ability to free up marketing capacity, unlock new capabilities, and accelerate customer growth on a global scale.

Your Mission

• Full-Stack Development: Architect, build, and maintain scalable AI and automation solutions using a polyglot approach (Python, JavaScript/Google Apps Script, Java) that integrate with our diverse tech stack.
• Data-Driven Marketing Acumen: Ensure all technical solutions are data-driven and conversion-focused. Collaborate with stakeholders to build reports and dashboards to measure the business impact of your initiatives.
• Engineering & Operations: Implement the development lifecycle according to Wise engineering best practices. You'll ensure solutions comply with legal and compliance standards and create comprehensive documentation and knowledge-sharing resources.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage and prioritize incoming project requests from marketing stakeholders. You will act as a technical liaison, translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and ensuring projects are compliant and well-supported across teams.
  
  

Qualifications

About You:

• Hands-on experience with AI and automation, with a proven track record of architecting, building, and maintaining robust, scalable solutions.
• You possess a deep understanding of full-stack development principles, data-driven marketing strategies, and engineering best practices, demonstrated through successful project delivery
• You are an exceptional communicator, able to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and provide technical liaison between diverse teams.
• You have demonstrated strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize requests, manage timelines, and deliver significant initiatives autonomously through transparent processes.
• You are a strategic, long-term thinker who can anticipate challenges and propose innovative solutions that align with broader marketing and organizational goals.
• You have experience in cross-functional collaboration, proactively sharing knowledge and fostering efficient execution across teams.
