The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in extending and improving the company’s AI-powered platform. Working in a small, agile team, you will translate business ideas into technical requirements, implement high-quality back-end solutions, and collaborate closely across hardware and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate new business concepts into technical specifications and actionable requirements
• Design, develop, and test high-performance, reliable Python code for production environments
• Implement quality assurance practices, coding standards, and automated checks
• Deploy updates continuously and iterate improvements based on user feedback
• Collaborate across teams to maintain high standards throughout the development lifecycle

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in Computer Science or related field, with expertise in algorithms and data structures
• 4+ years of professional Python experience, especially in back-end engineering and production environments
• Experience with hardware integration, particularly connecting sensors to software
• Proficient in version control (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Linux OS, software testing practices, and production deployment in AWS environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ambitious, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
