Job Overview:

American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking a strategic and hands-on IT leader to oversee the university’s enterprise technology systems. This role will focus on optimizing and supporting platforms such as the Student Information System (Banner), Learning Management System (Canvas), data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau), financial modules (e.g., Oracle), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). The successful candidate will ensure seamless integration of academic and administrative technologies, enhance digital infrastructure, and drive efficiency across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the university’s IT operations and systems architecture, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
• Oversee implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise platforms including LMS (Canvas), SIS (Banner), CRM (Salesforce), and ERP systems (Oracle).
• Manage data analytics initiatives using tools like Tableau to support reporting and decision-making.
• Ensure system security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across platforms.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to assess technology needs and drive user adoption.
• Supervise and develop the IT team, promoting a culture of service excellence and innovation.
• Plan and manage the IT budget, vendor relationships, and technology roadmaps.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience managing IT systems in a university or comparable institution is strongly preferred.
• Direct experience with enterprise systems such as Canvas, Banner, Oracle Finance, Salesforce, and Tableau.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CCIO) are a plus.

All-inclusive, tax-free base salary ranging from $6,000 to $8,000 USD per month, in addition to a monthly housing allowance.
