Job Title: Network Administrator

Job Type: 3-month Contract (with the possibility of extension to 12 months)

Location: Granby, QC (100% onsite)

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM with occasional after-hours/on-call shifts

Rates: $70 to $80/hr

Responsibilities:

• Provide level 3 technical support to users, resolving complex incidents related to systems and networks, including on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Monitor and optimize IT infrastructures (servers, networks, storage) using monitoring tools to ensure performance and availability.
• Plan and execute equipment and software maintenance, minimizing downtime, including the management of critical updates and security patches.
• Update and maintain documentation of configuration, operation, and troubleshooting procedures for Microsoft platforms (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 EntraID) and other systems (Linux, VMware, etc.).
• Analyze needs and propose recommendations for the evolution of system and network architectures, integrating automation solutions (PowerShell scripts, Power Automate, etc.) and cloud-native technologies.
• Contribute to cybersecurity by participating in the implementation and monitoring of security policies, firewall management and vulnerability detection.

Qualifications:

• DEC in computer science, bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years in systems and network administration, with demonstrated experience in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
• Proficiency in Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, EntraID, Microsoft 365).
• Knowledge of Linux systems and VMware virtualization solutions.
• Familiarity with automation tools (PowerShell, Python) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Autonomy, proactivity and ability to work in a team.
• Efficient priority management in a multitasking environment.

Assets :

• Certifications pertinentes (Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CCNA, CompTIA Security+).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins).
• Experience with container management (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Analyser les besoins et proposer des recommandations pour l’évolution des architectures systèmes et réseaux, en intégrant des solutions d’automatisation (scripts PowerShell, Power Automate, etc.) et des technologies cloud-native.
• Contribuer à la cybersécurité en participant à l’implémentation et au suivi des politiques de sécurité, à la gestion des pares-feux et à la détection des vulnérabilités.

Qualifications:

• DEC en informatique, baccalauréat en technologies de l’information ou équivalent.
• Minimum de 10 ans en administration de systèmes et réseaux, avec une expérience démontrée dans des environnements hybrides (on-premise et cloud).
• Maîtrise des environnements Microsoft (Windows Server, Active Directory, EntraID, Microsoft 365).
• Connaissance des systèmes Linux et des solutions de virtualisation VMware.
• Familiarité avec les outils d’automatisation (PowerShell, Python) et les plateformes cloud (Azure, AWS).
• Expérience avec les outils de monitoring et de gestion des réseaux.
• Excellente capacité d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes complexes.
• Autonomie, proactivité et aptitude à travailler en équipe.
• Gestion efficace des priorités dans un environnement multitâche.
