Job Description

About Us Innomente is an Australian SaaS company developing secure digital health and compliance solutions for the workplace drug testing and employment medical sectors. We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Wollongong, NSW. About the Role This permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure and scalable web and mobile applications. Key duties include:

  • Designing and developing responsive user interfaces using React.js and Node.js.
  • Building and maintaining RESTful APIs and network applications.
  • Acting as a solution architect, contributing to system design, integration, and product scalability.
  • Leading knowledge transfer and mentoring junior engineers, including training local staff as part of our workforce development program.
  • Advising the CEO and executive team on platform architecture, product design, and technology roadmaps.
  • Conducting research in AI and MedTech, translating outcomes into commercialised products.
  • Ensuring all systems comply with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Skills And Experience

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, AI, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in software engineering, including MedTech and digital health.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, REST APIs, AWS, Firebase.
  • Experience with mobile app development (iOS and Android).
  • Background in AI research leading to commercialised solutions.
  • Experience working in start-up environments, large multinationals, and regional Australia.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and train others.
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese.

Salary Base salary of $85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation. Location Wollongong, NSW (on-site).
