Senior Software Engineer

Our client, a specialist automotive engineering company based in Munich, are looking for Senior Software engineers for their platform team as they have secured a new client and expanding. You’ll be working with state-of-the-art technology and supporting leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across the automotive industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Configure and integrate Base Software (BSW) stacks according to customer specifications.
• Be involved in the full BSW workflow.
• Take responsibility for suggesting and implementing architectural designs and decisions.
• Debug code and solve errors, documenting your work to a high standard.
• Support project teams in integrating and using the platform.
• Work closely with clients to understand needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage project activities, ensuring deliverables are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
  

What You’ll Bring:

• Knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR and some experience with configuring/integration work.
• Embedded C/C++ experience, and microcontroller basics.
• Debugging experience (e.g., Lauterbach or iSystem).
• Familiarity with ASPICE standards.
• Experience with at least one AUTOSAR-relevant toolchain (DaVinci, Tresos, etc.).
• Basic CANoe operation (communication packages / basic diagnostic operations).
• Business-fluent German (C1/C2)
