Network Administrator

Job Title: Network & Security Administrator (m/f/d)

Location: Cologne (Köln), Germany

Contract: Initial 2-year contract, option to permanent

On-site Policy: 3 days/week

Responsibilities

• Administration, operation, and installation of firewalls, VPN gateways, and campus/AWS network infrastructure
• Optimization and further development of the network and firewall landscape
• Network support for racing and test events (including occasional weekends)
• Implementation and enhancement of security policies in line with corporate standards
• Administration of network access control, definition and enforcement of network policies

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in IT with practical experience in the above areas
• Strong interest in operating and developing highly available network solutions
• Ideally familiar with encryption technologies and cross-platform implementations
• Independent, structured working style combined with team spirit
• Open, communicative, and motivated personality
