The Challenge

We’re looking for a Mobile Developer (Android – Kotlin) with 5+ years of proven experience to join a skilled engineering team working on high-impact international projects.

You will:

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin;
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences;
• Implement clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture);
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness across devices;
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring smooth and secure data flows;
• Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards;
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests to guarantee app stability;
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies;
• Stay up to date with Android development trends, libraries, and tools.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in Android development with Kotlin (mandatory);
• Solid knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern Android architecture;
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices and Material Design guidelines;
• Experience integrating APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs;
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks;
• Good knowledge of app performance optimization, memory management, and debugging tools;
• Experience with Git and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence);
• Knowledge of cloud integration (Firebase, Google Cloud, AWS) is a plus;
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
• Comfortable working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams;
• Fluency in English (minimum B2);
• Mandatory to reside in Portugal.
