User Experience Designer

Beam is a growing international technology company delivering digital solutions in the areas of SaaS, DevOps, and cloud-native platforms. We are on a mission to build world-class products that are intuitive, scalable, and visually engaging.

We are now looking for a UX/UI Designer with strong experience in SaaS platforms and design systems to join our remote-first product team in Portugal.

Your Mission

As a UX/UI Designer, you’ll play a central role in shaping the user experience and visual identity of our SaaS applications. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to create intuitive, consistent, and user-centered interfaces that deliver real value.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for our SaaS applications
• Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all interfaces
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to guide design decisions
• Translate complex requirements and user needs into clean, modern, and intuitive interfaces
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs
• Contribute to product strategy and design thinking workshops alongside product and engineering teams
• Advocate for UX best practices and champion user-centric design across the organization

Your Profile

• Proven experience designing SaaS applications, ideally in a B2B environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing both UX and UI design work
• Expertise in modern design tools (Figma preferred) and design system management
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and front-end development constraints
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
