Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for OTT platform deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support high-availability streaming services.
• Ensure robust monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic) to maintain uptime and performance for video delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline video encoding, packaging, and delivery workflows using tools like AWS Elemental Media Services or Harmonic VOS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for content delivery networks (CDNs) and DRM-protected streams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to streaming performance, scalability, or reliability, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, UI/UX) to support end-to-end OTT platform development and delivery.
• Stay updated on OTT industry trends, including advancements in video streaming, CTV, and monetization technologies.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 2 years in the OTT or media streaming industry.
• Proven expertise in managing cloud-based infrastructure for video streaming (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including services like AWS Elemental MediaConvert, MediaLive, or CloudFront.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and content delivery networks (e.g., Akamai, CloudFront).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) and incident management for broadcast or streaming environments.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
