Junior Software Engineer - Full Stack - Exciting HealthTech Start-Up

About you:

As a junior member of our team, you'll have the potential to work with our existing team and grow and learn in all of the latest technologies. This position offers a very competitive salary, flexible working conditions, and the chance to earn equity in a rapidly expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the execution of technology strategies, ensure the maintanance of a high-quality multi-tenant product.
• Be involved with all of the current tech initiatives and mature our in-market application, adding innovative features and scaling our technology.
• Implement best practices in software development, improve code quality, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
• Work closely with management, stakeholders, and external partners to align product strategy and development efforts with market needs.

Requirements:

• 1+ years experience in a high growth software engineering environment using the latest engineering frameworks like NextJS, React , Prisma, Tailwind CSS, Supabase
• Demonstrated experience in front end development
• Proven track record working in teams and projects, ideally within a start-up environment.
• Experience with Vercel and Supabase highly regarded
• Experience in React (& React native), NextJs (a MUST), Typescript, Tailwind, ShadcnUI, MagicUI, Aceternity UI
• Experience in Redux/Zustand state management and event-driven microservices.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Backend knowledge is required, need to write basic CRUD api by Typescript
• Need to familiar with using query method and cache knowledge
• Experience in using React-query v5 and axios
• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or a New Zealand Citizen.

• Experience in the healthcare sector.
• Experience with ML/AI technologies, particularly in NLP, OCR, or generative AI.
• Familiarity with working in distributed or remote teams.
