Backend Developer - Mobile Apps

Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Backend Developer to work with a key client based in Malmo

**Please note this is 4 Days onsite weekly**

Role & tasks

* As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of E.ON’s mobile application. Every day, a large number of customers use our app, and our goal is to make it even more attractive and user-friendly. With a strong customer focus and exciting new features, we work together to achieve this!

* As a Backend Developer, you will take on significant technical responsibilities and contribute to the overall architecture and structure of the app. You will work closely with the application team to ensure that the backend platform is optimized and that the app receives the right information at the right time. Your work will include maintenance, further development, and the integration of cutting-edge external products within the energy supply sector.

* Beyond the mobile application, you will also contribute to the development of our internal back-office tool. Therefore, experience in full-stack development, especially with React.js, is highly desirable. This work will be conducted in close collaboration with the development.

* The assignment is 6 months with the possibility for extension to a maximum of 2 years.

Skills:

• Azure Cloud, Azure Function Applications, and Azure Bicep

• Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, and Material UI

• Unit/E2E testing (preferably using Jest)

• Infrastructure as Code (preferably via Azure Bicep)

• Database management and design

• CI/CD (preferably via Azure DevOps or GitLab)
