Role Overview

Medserv are seeking a talented and ambitious senior-level Full Stack Developer to join our team of developers working on a wide variety of existing and new web-based applications used within the Medical Billing Industry.

This position is an initial 12 month rolling B2B contract.

The core of the role will revolve around maintaining, improving and expanding our web-based client software. We are also creating new and different systems to cater for our clients' needs which gives the candidate the ability to get involved in all aspects of application development working alongside various stakeholders.

The Ideal Applicant

You love using PHP and MySQL to create everything from a simple website to complex command line tools.

You enjoy working with frontend technologies/ frameworks alongside backend technologies/ frameworks.

You don't want to spend all your time on a single project that is doing just a single thing.

You don't want to just be writing code and instead want to be involved in how the systems are designed.

Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency working with the Laravel Framework (4 years+).
• Proficient with front end frameworks like React.JS/Vue.JS.
• Good working knowledge of MySQL used in conjunction with PHP.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies including but not limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, etc
• Unit testing implementation with CI/CD.
• Comfortable writing, building and operating within docker.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test and maintain the legacy (PHP7.2) core product software and databases to debug and improve existing functionality.
• Version Control experience with git.
• Assist in writing development specs to enhance the system and to allow for more efficient work practices.
• Be a self-starting, quick learner and able to make design decisions unaided.
• Be able to work with other people, both users and programmers, as well as being able to work on your own.
