Qualifications:

• A great team player with a creative, self-initiative mindset
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• 2+ years of experience working as Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer or equivalent
• BS/MS degree in quantitative field (data science, computer engineering/science, information systems, software engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a similar field), or equivalent experience
• Experience in applying statistical solutions to solving business problems
• Fluency in Python and SQL
• Experience using analytics related libraries and AI/ML frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, pandas, PyTorch, Tensorflow, PySpark)
• Active engagement with new trends in technology

Responsible for:

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
• Perform mining, preparation and preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Converting data into meaningful insights and presenting information using data visualization tools and techniques
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to create data-driven business solutions
• Conduct projects end-to-end from initial business case through development and production
• Design, develop and test machine learning and deep learning pipelines and platforms
• Focus on quality, accuracy and consistency of data, reporting data quality issues to both data owners and technical staff

Preferred if:

• Strong experience in relational (SQL Server) and non-relational databases (Mongo DB)
• Knowledge of typical BI/data analytics tools (PowerBI/Tableau)
• Fluency in other programming languages (e.g. Scala, C#, Java) is a plus
• Hands-on experience with workflow management platforms (e.g. AirFlow, MLFlow, MLRun)
• Experience with Computer Vision, Image Processing, Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, recommendation systems and applications
• Participation in competition platforms like Kaggle
• Experience in cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure) with related tools
• Experience in modern DevOps practices and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of recommendation and personalization systems, with experience in e-commerce environments is a big plus
