Location: Fully Remote

Salary: £55-£60k

I’m working with a well established and growing tech company who are looking to bring in a seasoned backend PHP Developer. In this role you will work closely with he wider tech team and their current lead in houser developer who’s been with the company for nearly a decade. With a deep understanding of every internal system, this colleague will act as a mentor, offering strong guidance and support, ensuring the new team member is set up for success from day one.

This is a role well-suited to someone who thrives in a stable, structured backend environment, someone who sees PHP, APIs, and SQL as their bread and butter, and who takes pride in building solid, reliable systems. It’s not about chasing the latest flashy tech trends; it’s about doing quality work that matters.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong, hands-on PHP experience
• Proven API development skills
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management

Desirable:

• Some knowledge of React is beneficial. While frontend tasks are typically handled by specialists, familiarity with React would be an advantage but there’s the option to grow these skills on the job.
