Senior Data Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join our team.

As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced analytics solutions to drive data-driven decision-making. The role encompasses working with diverse data sources and technologies to deliver impactful insights to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data models and pipelines to support analytical needs across multiple business units
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations for large datasets
• Architect data solutions using cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data analytics setups
• Utilize tools like Power BI or Tableau to create advanced reporting dashboards and visualizations
• Implement systems for data governance, security policies, and best practices in analytics workflows
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes
• Guide junior team members, offering mentorship and fostering a strong analytical culture within the organization
• Partner with stakeholders to identify key performance metrics and align analytics solutions to strategic goals

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics engineering roles, including advanced SQL and ETL development
• Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable BI tool with proven successes delivering data-driven insights
• Solid understanding of database programming and management systems such as Azure SQL Database, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift
• Background in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for analytics implementation and storage solutions
• Competency in programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data manipulation and analytics
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, particularly using tools like Azure Synapse Analytics or BigQuery
• Skills in integrating diverse data sources, including APIs, flat files, and relational databases
• Strong aptitude for analytical thinking and solving complex problems

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps for integrating analytics workflows
• Proficiency in implementing data storytelling techniques to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
• Experience in managing security frameworks such as Row-Level Security or access control in BI environments
