About The Role

Backend Engineer to design and scale APIs for payment infrastructure using Node.js, responsible for high-throughput backend services and secure integrations.

The role involves joining the platform team as a Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js. The primary responsibility is to design and scale APIs that facilitate payments for thousands of customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities Include

• Building and maintaining high-throughput backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Designing and optimizing REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Implementing secure and fault-tolerant integrations with third-party providers.
• Collaborating with product managers and designers to deliver features from start to finish.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of Node.js/TypeScript backend development
• Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Bonus: experience in fintech, payments, or other regulated industries
