What To Expect
Tesla is looking for a HR Coordinator to join our ANZ HR team and help drive our mission by providing hands-on support to our employees across the Motors and Energy business.

Tesla’s HR Coordinators are passionate about their work and deliver seamless support across the entire employee lifecycle to ensure our people feel supported, informed and inspired every day. Alongside the HR Responsibilities this role will support the Recruitment team with administrative tasks such as interview scheduling and pre-employment checks.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Melbourne office, but we are open to considering a part-time schedule (4 days per week) if preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct new hire onboarding from documentation through to their first day
  • Manage our HR inbox via our e-ticketing system, responding to policy, procedural and general employee queries
  • Support internal employee communication & office updates
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations
  • Lead employee engagement activities and events
  • Provide administration support to the Recruitment team (Interview scheduling & background checks)
  • Coordinate employee benefit programs
  • Ad-hoc project support
  • Administration of HR & Recruiting systems


  • What You'll Bring

  • 1 - 3+ years’ experience in a HR Coordinator or a similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree or tertiary qualification in HR, Business Administration or a relevant field
  • Experience assisting employees with basic workplace queries such as leave balances and pay queries
  • Experience using internal HR systems
  • Basic knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes for employment
  • Resourceful and self-motivated with ability to work in changing environments
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Proven organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with data analytics is a plus
