HR Generalist – Major Hedge Fund - £65-80k Base + Strong Bonus & Sign-on

My client, an extremely well established, global hedge fund are looking to hire a Junior HR Operations professional to join a lean and dynamic HR team, working directly with the EMEA Head of HR, to step up into a Generalist role. This role is newly created, resulting from firmwide growth.

The hire will take ownership of HR operational processes across the EMEA region and support with the development and implementation of people strategy and HR projects on a global scale. The hire will play a key role in helping make HR a more data driven function, actively managing employee data and working to provide insights, track growth and provide data analysis to support workforce planning and improve overall employee experience. The hire will gain direct exposure to HR team leaders from day one and support them on firmwide initiatives including the roll out of new HR policies, talent management frameworks as well as a range of projects, often focused on process enhancements and automation that support the team’s ability to scale effectively and efficiently.

Candidates should have 2- 4 years of experience as a HR Analyst/Coordinator/Generalist ideally in a hedge fund or leading asset manager (albeit we can be flexible to industry). Candidates must have strong excel skills and solid experience working with senior stakeholders.

The role will pay a base salary of up to £80k and a sign on bonus (to more than make up for any loss of earnings if resigning pre-bonus). The firm reward staff with exceptional bonuses and so the hire has the opportunity to earn a large % of his/her base as a bonus if they perform to a high standard in the role.
