Based in the heart of Miami, their engineering team of 10 collaborates daily in a vibrant office environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Laravel Developer, you’ll play a key role in rebuilding the backend architecture from the ground up. You’ll lead API development, guide database migration efforts, and mentor junior developers—all while shaping the technical direction of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new database structures
• Maintain and develop RESTful APIs, including leading the creation of new interfaces
• Overhaul the existing backend system with a fresh Laravel-based architecture
• Lead the migration from MongoDB to PostgreSQL
• Review code and mentor junior developers
• Maintain and update technical documentation
• Collaborate with QA engineers to test and debug applications

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience with PHP
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel
• Proficiency with modern Laravel versions (10+)
• Experience in a senior or lead development role
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of REST API design and development
