IT Services Work Experience: 1-3 years Responsibilities Own the end-to-end development of Android applications using Kotlin, including UI/UX implementation, business logic, and network integration. Ensure seamless functionality across tablet and handheld form factors. Integrate with Stripe for mobile payments, handling all transaction flows including retries, refunds, and error capture. Connect to AWS serverless microservices (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, DynamoDB). Work closely with QA, Product, and Backend teams in an Agile environment. Maintain unit tests and deliver stable features every sprint. Conduct and participate in peer code reviews, improve legacy codebases, and ensure consistency across releases. Monitor app performance and debug issues using tools like Firebase Crashlytics and log aggregation platforms.

Qualifications

3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin. Hands-on experience with Stripe SDKs and payment workflows, plus experience working with other payment gateways. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and how to consume secure APIs. Proficient in writing and maintaining unit and UI test coverage. Comfortable with Git, pull requests, and peer reviews in a collaborative Agile team. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). Demonstrated ability to deliver production-ready features on time and independently. Preferred: Experience building for low-connectivity/offline-first environments (e.g., Room, WorkManager, local sync). Knowledge of modern Android architectures: MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose. Experience using Dagger or Hilt for dependency injection. Exposure to Android Enterprise features like kiosk mode, device lockdown, or managed configurations. Familiarity with Firebase services: Crashlytics, Remote Config, Analytics. Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
