Akkodis is seeking Network Administrator Direct hire with a direct client in Warren MI 48089

Pay Range: $90k - $110k/yearly on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

• Cisco Network experience.
• Deep understanding of local Networking and Routing.
• Must have 3-5 years of experience.
• Must have critical thinking experience.
• Must have some security exposure – ACL’s.
• V-Landing experience.
• We are seeking 3-5 years of experience and a CCNA Certification, if possible
• ,At this point, we need someone who can come in and hit the ground running and really elevate the team.
• No architecture, for the most part. Just maintenance and adding new sites to the network.
• Must be able to configure networking, switching using Visio.
• Document Diagrams – Network structure.
• Take lead on networking projects and troubleshoot.

The Network Administrator, a full-time on-site position, will be responsible for overseeing the entire network function across all sites. The candidate would be ambitious, being able to design, implement, and support all network infrastructure across multiple sites. Believing in our One Team mentality, you will be a team player, working closely with our Systems Team, Security Engineer, and Support specialists while reporting to the IT Systems Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade, repair, configure and improve networks across multiple sites
• Take ownership of network troubleshooting until resolution is found
• Utilize firewall and SD WAN solutions to protect and ensure site to site reliability and security
• Manage multiple ISP’s across all sites, troubleshooting when necessary
• Design network improvements and infrastructure for new and existing facilities
• Work with 3rd party teams to assist in implementing network changes and improvements
• Document architecture, design, and layout including protocols, standards, and configuration
• Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain Fibre Channel switches
• Configure and maintain DNS and DHCP across all sites
• Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans
• Collect and review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes
• Proactive monitoring of all network devices, services, and servers to ensure high availability
• Work with Security and Systems Team to ensure networks meet company security standards

Position Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years full time networking experience
• Deep understanding of all levels of local Networking and Routing
• Experience managing internal and external DNS, DHCP, Firewalls is a must
• Ability to utilize problem solving skills and resources to troubleshoot network issues
• Ability to work well with multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, sharing and expanding own understanding of all infrastructure via cross training
• Effective business communication and technical writing skills
• CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified
• Experience with SD WAN solutions
• Experience with setting up and managing ISP’s
