About Your Role
As a Software Developer with Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS), you'll directly contribute to our 5-Year Digital Strategy—modernising legacy systems, building secure cloud-aligned tools, and enabling data-driven mental health care. This is your chance to develop meaningful software that clinicians use daily to improve patient outcomes.
You'll work within a collaborative digital team to design, build, and support web applications using .NET Core, Angular, Blazor, and related technologies, while also contributing to reporting solutions and cloud-based infrastructure.
About You
You're a problem solver, a systems thinker, and a developer who's motivated by meaningful work. You have strong technical capability in full-stack Microsoft development and a passion for building tools that empower clinical teams.
You'll Bring
- Proven experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Angular, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong SQL Server skills including stored procedures and database design.
- Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure SQL, Functions) and cloud-hosted environments.
- Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
- A strong grasp of user-centred design, accessibility standards, and secure coding practices.
- Experience in agile teams and collaborative delivery environments.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID).
- (Desirable) Understanding of RESTful APIs and FHIR standards for healthcare interoperability.

Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services provide inpatient, hospital-based and community mental health and community alcohol and drug services for all age groups across a number of campuses .
