About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager on an initial 12-month contract (with up to 36-months total engagement) to oversee a portfolio of complex ICT business, application and technology projects. You will provide leadership, direction and governance while ensuring programs are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with strategic objectives. This role requires a strong leader with proven experience in enterprise-wide ICT change initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage program and project teams, including resourcing, recruitment and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program delivery plans and budgets.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Report on program performance to senior stakeholders including Directors and the Board.
  • Engage and consult with stakeholders across the program lifecycle.
  • Apply and monitor program/project methodologies aligned with policies.
  • Ensure robust governance, assurance, and high-quality documentation.


Skills & Experience


Mandatory:

  • Demonstrated experience leading ICT programs and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP and/or Agile.


Highly Desirable:

  • Experience delivering ICT programs/projects in the public sector.
  • Proven success managing enterprise-wide ICT change initiatives in large, complex organisations.
  • Background in information security or cyber security programs.
  • Experience with large-scale procurement and services engagements.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Information Technology.
