This is a full-time or contract role for a Security Engineer located in Canberra. To apply for this position you must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active AGSVA security clearance.

As a Senior Engineer in our Threat Defence capability, you will lead projects to design and deploy security solutions such as SIEM, XDR, SOAR, vulnerability management, and cloud security solutions for our customers. Knowledge of essential 8 tools such as Application Control, Privileged Access Management, Patching and MFA are also desirable.

For this specific role we are after the following skills and experience.

Essential:

• Strong Experience in either or both Spunk and Trend AV product suites.
• Knowledge and experience designing and implementing SIEM capabilities.
• Experience in Active Directory/GPO in windows environments.
• Experience with VMware and enterprise Microsoft products such as Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Demonstratable experience in being tasked with deploying and successfully deploying security software solutions across virtualised environments.
• Knowledge and experience of ISM, Essential Eight, PSPF and other compliance frameworks.
• Security cleared: NV1

Desirable:

• Intel McAfee EPO Suite.
• Microsoft PowerShell Administration in Team Foundation Server.
• Administrative experience in MS SQL.
