We are seeking multiple Email Security Engineers to join our cybersecurity team on a huge enterprise email security depolyment project. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and optimising our organisation's email security infrastructure whilst ensuring the highest level of protection against emerging email-based threats.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of a team of Email Security Engineers, you will be responsible for the implementation, migration, and maintenance of enterprise email security solutions including Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal Security.

You will work closely with our IT and security teams to develop and maintain robust email security protocols that protect our organisation from phishing attempts, malware, and other email-based threats.

Essential Experience and Skills:

You must possess demonstrated experience in successfully migrating and managing enterprise email security platforms, with particular expertise in Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal Security solutions. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (formerly ATP) is essential, including experience with its configuration, policy management, and threat investigation capabilities.

Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience implementing and managing email security gateways

• Advanced knowledge of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Defender

• Experience in conducting security incident investigations and threat hunting

• Proficiency in developing and maintaining security policies and procedures

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to email security

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in email security engineering roles
