About The Role
We’re growing fast and seeking a senior leader to head our Supply Chain Platform team in Digital & Technology! If you have experience in leading cross-functional tech teams, driving continuous improvement and service, this role is for you.
The Head of Supply Chain Platforms role is responsible for leading and overseeing all strategy, technology and people leadership functions of the Supply Chain platform team. This includes driving high performance within the team, managing cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance, efficiency, and growth.
Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, Merchandising & Supply Chain Technologies, you will be accountable for shaping and executing the strategy of Supply Chain technology working closely in collaboration with both the Supply Chain and Digital & Technology divisions to advise, influence, plan and execute strategic objectives.
Furthermore, you will be accountable for all IT operations, service management, application support, system engineering, business continuity, cost management, and compliance functions for the technologies under management of the platform.
This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine), Sydney (Rhodes), or Melbourne (Truganina) with a hybrid work model.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong track record of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing technology teams. You will have proven experience in developing and executing technology strategies aligned with business goals, as well as the ability to influence senior leadership and contribute to divisional level decision-making. Furthermore, you will have demonstrated change management leadership experience as part of digital transformation or system modernisation initiatives.
In Addition, You Will Bring
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional IT and digital teams, including engineering, development, testing, infrastructure and architecture.
- Strong technical background in IT engineering/software, infrastructure or architecture. Experience working in a retail supply chain environment is desirable.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and supporting enterprise grade ERP, WMS, OMS and demand forecasting technologies within a large-scale business.
- Demonstrated experience in managing technology risk, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning for a technology function or division.
- Exposure to emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain, IoT) and their practical applications.
